My name is Paula Coombs. After completing a degree in plant biology I began my career designing interior plant displays. Following training in garden design and further R.H S horticultural qualifications, I started work as a garden designer in 2000.

My work mainly focuses on family gardens. I also design gardens for schools and preschool. I have always been committed to the practical use of a garden space.

I am fully insured up to £5m for any work undertaken on site. I have also been C.R.B checked so that I can work on gardens in schools.

Chris Beardshaw assessed one of my gardens on Channel 4, and said, "This is a really great garden for kids."
